Cal-Comp Precision (CPPH), a globally renowned manufacturing enterprise and a key supplier for Dyson’s flagship products including hair dryers, straighteners, and cordless vacuum cleaners, officially announced the launch of its MES (Manufacturing Execution System) project, taking a solid step forward on its path toward smart factory transformation.
Located directly across from Dyson’s headquarters in the Philippines, Cal-Comp Precision has long been known for delivering high-precision and high-efficiency contract manufacturing. In response to growing market competition and increasing international customer requirements for quality, lead time, and transparency, the company has decided to implement MES to achieve:
- Production Transparency: Real-time visibility of shop floor operations, enabling higher data reliability and faster decision-making
- Quality Traceability: Comprehensive product genealogy to quickly trace back raw materials and process information
- Operational Efficiency: Improved dispatching and responsiveness on the shop floor, reducing costs and minimizing waste
This project is jointly supported by Digiwin Thailand, which provides local service and support, and DigiHua Intelligent Systems, which is responsible for system delivery and implementation. Together, the three parties are working hand in hand to ensure the success of Cal-Comp Precision’s digital transformation.
At the project kick-off meeting, several senior executives of Cal-Comp Precision were in attendance, underscoring the company’s strong commitment to digital transformation. The discussions highlighted not only the importance of MES in enhancing production efficiency but also the company’s determination to strengthen manufacturing competitiveness across Southeast Asia.
Cal-Comp Precision, remarked:
“CCPH’s production capabilities have long relied on the dedicated efforts of our management and workforce. With MES, we aim to integrate decades of manufacturing management experience and data accumulated across Southeast Asia to build a more transparent and agile operation model. This will enable us to upgrade both our equipment and digital systems, setting a benchmark factory model for Kinpo Group in the region.”
DigiHua Intelligent Systems also commented:
“MES is not just a system—it is a driving force for organizational advancement. The success of this project relies on joint collaboration. Drawing on our extensive experience in the plastics injection molding industry, DigiHua will help Cal-Comp Precision design a factory blueprint that fully embodies digital excellence.”
The project concluded with a group photo, symbolizing the official start of this tripartite collaboration. Looking ahead, Cal-Comp Precision will continue to enhance its digital capabilities through MES, moving toward a more resilient, efficient smart factory while creating shared prosperity with its global customers.
