VPIC, a leading enterprise in Vietnam’s automotive components and precision metal manufacturing industry, faces growing competition and rising customer expectations for quality and delivery performance.
While the company had previously adopted an ERP system, it identified gaps in real-time monitoring, process control, and data traceability on the shop floor.
According to Vice General Manager Mr. Lyu , as the industry transitions toward smart manufacturing, relying solely on ERP systems can no longer meet the need for real-time feedback and on-site management. After observing Digihua’s successful MES implementations in various factories, VPIC was deeply inspired by the results—data transparency, real-time decision-making, and precise traceability—which became the foundation for initiating this MES project to enhance the company’s competitiveness.
